Reed Elsevier Fitout In Chatswood…9000 Sqm Of Smart Design

The biggest law and commercial information provider, LexisNexis Australia, engaged Innova to refurbish their existing headquarters in Victoria Avenue Chatswood. Their offices distributed in 5 floors including one level of activity based working environment that enhances staff efficiency and creativity is an statement on their leadership within the industry.

LexisNexis was looking forward to a change in their workplace environment but most importantly in their corporate culture. A horizontal company structure with a very friendly corporate culture needed to be translated into their offices. A new concept on Activity Based Working was implemented in one of their levels, optimizing the staff interaction and new ways to perform their jobs in a contemporary work environment.

A turn key contract encompassing design, documentation, graphics development, fitout works and base building works upgrade was developed smoothly as an in-tenancy project. The disruption to the staff was kept to minimum and the business was able to continue with their normal performance during the fit out period.

An outstanding result that leaded all the other Reed Elsevier businesses to engage Innova to develop their fit outs at the building. Reed Exhibitions, Reed Business Information and Reed Elsevier Australia also engaged Innova to manage their complete office refurbishments.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the team at Innova for their support and professionalism throughout the project. Our Pacific CEO, TJ Viljoen and Regional CEO, Judy Vesmar, have both complimented the LexisNexis Project Team and Innova on the excellent results achieved.

More importantly, the LexisNexis team is very happy with the new work environment and our management team is excited about how the new fitout will support the program of culture change we are pursuing.”
